SEI CMMi Level 3 Certification in Feb 2008

In accordance with the norms specified by SEI CMMi assessment processes, Elixir Computech Pvt. Ltd. successfully obtained the SEI CMMi Level 3 certification in February 2008.

We began the process of being SEI CMMi certified with strict and stringent implementation of internal assessment measures.  External SEI CMMi assessment was undertaken by an institute specializing in SEI CMMi assessments and certifications. Experts, from the field of SEI CMMI assessment and certification, formally evaluated our software ability, internal standards and implementation of defined standards before granting us the SEI CMMi Level 3 certification.

What the SEI CMMi 3 Certification means for us
According to SEI CMMi, at Level 3 an organization’s set of processes are well-characterized and understood, and are described in its standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The certification backs our claim to be in the know-how of:

• Processes that establish consistency and ensure appropriate addressal of a project’s unique guidelines.
• Managers’ ability - to adapt our set standards, process descriptions and procedures for a project, tailored from our set of standard processes to suit a particular project or organization.
• Thorough knowledge - of Key Process Areas (KPA) of implementation activities for practical and effective software development activities. 

 

Shifting of India Office

In view of expanding operations, Elixir CT is in the process of shifting its India office from Sec 127, Logix Park to DLF 3C IT Park in Sector 62. The shift marks a significant step in a new direction. The company which has been running operation for more than three years at Logix, is welcoming this new change with enthusiasm and eagerness. The number of employees currently working with Elixir CT will more than double in the new office, increasing from 45 employees to more than 90. Work is going on in full scale, and the move is intended to take place on 22nd Dec 2010. This will be an enjoyable transition, a new office to welcome the New Year – 2011.

Settled in the new office

The Elixir CT family welcomed the New Year and the new decade in its new office at DLF 3C IT Park in Sector 62. Construction work, as is wont to happen, delayed the shifting from Dec 22nd 2010 to 3rd Jan 2011. But, we bid the old year good bye by conducting a Puja on 31st Dec 2010 at the new Office, and with the promise to welcome 2011 in the new premises. All those who saw the office on that day, refused to believe that the shift could happen over the New Year weekend. But it did!! The determination and dedication of the HR and administrative department paid off, and all of us adopted our new workstations on a cold winter day.

So many new happenings surround us. It is of little wonder that our enthusiasm to excel in our respective fields continues to grow.
